Tracks, Poles and Rails
Fifty-four fully user definable types. Fitting. Pricing includes unit price, by
per width, by per width relative to drop. Most other metric and imperial
pricing options available. Up to three hundred different tracks, poles or rails
per estimate.
Bed Coverings
Throwover Bedspread, Fitted Bedspread, Duvet Cover and Bed Valance. Pre-defined
and Manual Fullness for each type. Flame proofing. Overall and individual extra
length for making. Pricing includes unit price, by per width, by per width
relative to drop. Most other metric and imperial pricing options available. Up
to three hundred different bed coverings per estimate.
Special Fabric Items
Allows non-standard fabric items to be included in estimate. Up to three
hundred different special fabric items per estimate.
Other Items
Allows non-standard, non-fabric items to be included in estimate. Up to two
thousand other items per estimate.
Room Descriptions
Allows up to three line room descriptions or item separator descriptions to be
automatically added to estimate. Up to one hundred different descriptions per
estimate.
Fabrics
Any width, any repeat, any half- drop in cms or inches. Pricing per Metre, per
Yard, inclusive or exclusive of VAT. Automatic conversion of metre/yard prices
and inclusive/exclusive VAT prices. Up to one hundred and twenty alpha/numeric
character fabric numbers. Automatic creation of look-up fabric tables for each
estimate.
Linings and Interlinings
Sateen, Thermal, Blackout and Milium lining and Bleached and Natural
Interlining as standard in two widths. Plus twenty-four fully user definable
linings and fourteen fully user definable interlinings. Automatic selection of
lining width in relation to fabric width. Linings and Interlinings fully
available for Curtains, Blinds, Pelmets, Valances, Drapes - Swags and Tails,
Tiebacks and Bed Coverings. Pricing by unit price or per metre price. Imperial
pricing also available.
Trims
Braid/Fringe, Piping, Frills - Double and Single, Inset Border and Edging as
standard. Two user definable trims. Fully definable making lengths such as
strip width and piping cut bias. Pricing by unit price, per making metre price,
per making width price. Imperial pricing also available.
Customer Entry
Entry of customer name and address.
Data Entry
.
Data is either by menu selection or simple text entry and can mostly be entered
in any order. All measurements can be immediately entered as centimetres,
metres, feet or inches with automatic conversion to selected display base which
can be centimetres, metres, feet or inches. Fabric prices can be entered as per
metre or per yard inclusive or exclusive of VAT with automatic conversion to
selected display base which can be per metre or per yard inclusive or exclusive
of VAT.
Calculatio
n
All estimating is by calculation only and reflects industry wide standards. Up
to twelve different price tables are available allowing different pricing
structures for different groups of customers. Each table also allows three
discount bands on fabrics, stock items and making charges.
Results Display
Full plain english description of current item always displayed at top of
screen. Immediate and full display of relevant calculation results such as
number of widths, fabric length, fabric cost, lining length, lining cost,
interlining length, interlining cost, trim cost and making cost. VAT and Total
or Total only. Description and results continuously updated as data is altered.
Pre-production Editing
All Items in an estimate can be altered or deleted at any time. Item order can
re-arranged and extra items can be inserted at any point. Fabric lists can be
displayed at anytime and fabrics can be individually or globally changed .
Output
Customer Estimates, Work Sheets and Fabric Lists in text format. Binary
estimates.
Customer Estimates
Automatically produced and printed estimates which can be given or sent to the
customer within minutes of receiving a quotation request. Extensive user
defined formatting allowing a range of styles to be produced - from the very
verbose to the terse. Automatic insertion of user defined header and footer
paragraphs.
Work Sheets
Option of automatically produced standard work sheets at the same time as
customer estimates. Menu option to produce work sheets at anytime.
Fabric Lists
Individual list and combined and totalled list options. Option of automatically
produced fabric lists at the same time as customer estimates. Menu option to
produce fabric lists at anytime.
Picking Lists.
Lists total meterage of fabrics, linings and interlinings required. Lists
number and type of tracks required. Option of automatically produced picking
lists at the same time as customer estimates. Menu option to produce picking
lists at anytime.
Acceptance Forms.
User definable acceptance form allowing deposits to be automatically entered.
Allows credit card details and customer confirmation to be subsequently
entered. Option of automatically produced acceptance forms at the same time as
customer estimates. Menu option to produce acceptance forms at anytime.
Fitting Lists

List of individual items requiring fitting. Includes customer name and address,
fabric details and brief sizes. Option of automatically produced fitting lists
at the same time as customer estimates. Menu option to produce fitting lists at
anytime.
Digests
Breakdown of individual fabrics, stock and making values. Total fitting value.
Option of automatically produced digests at the same time as customer
estimates. Menu option to produce digests at anytime.
Binary Estimates.
Full estimate data saved to disc in computer readable format. Format details
shown in manual allow data to be read and manipulated by other programs.
Storage
Options for automatic saving of Customer Estimates, Work Sheets and Fabric
lists in ASCII text format. Option for automatic saving of binary format
estimate.
Post-Production
Binary estimates allow complete and total editing of any previous estimate
including merging. Items can be added, deleted or modified without having to
re-enter any unchanged information. New customer estimates, work sheets and
fabric lists can then be created immediately. Customer Estimates, Work Sheets,
, Acceptance Forms , Digests, Fabric,. Picking and Fitting Lists can all be
edited in the simple text editor. Editor functions include search and replace,
on screen calculator with VAT settings and special clause insertion
capabilities. Up to fifty clauses or pre-defined paragraphs can be menu
selected and inserted at any point in the text.
Configuration
Set-up and price list configuration is via the special CONFIG program included
with the package. Other utilities allow on screen colour setting, price list
creation and price list editing. Set-up and price list information can be
modified from the main program via the system menu option.
ECCE Estimate
is the original and ultimate curtain, blind, pelmet,
valance, drape, swag, tieback, track, pole, rail and bed covering computer
estimating program. ECCE Estimate was initially exclusively designed for
a major London curtain manufacturer in the early 1980's and has been
subsequently developed and enlarged to serve both the contract and retail soft
furnishing market. ECCE Estimate
is a complete program which needs no further expensive software and is designed
to allow the purchaser to add new styles and types without the necessity of
buying further updates or add on modules.
